British Gymnastics Core Proficiency Awards
We will be finishing off assessing everyone for the awards for the remainder of the term, if achieved they will get their certificate and badge towards the end of term.
We will also be working on badges again for next term as well!
The Core Proficiency Awards Scheme is built around 10 different types of activities – such as Strength, Jumping, Rolling and Balancing – with 8 levels of attainment.
New Classes
We are introducing a new class, an advanced class which will run for 2 hours and will be on Sunday 3-5pm
Assessment
We have done assessments with most classes to see that everyone is in the class that we think best suits them.
The assessment consists of a range of gymnastics elements which test their strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.
We will send out emails to parents of children who we think could benefit from moving into the next class, it is not compulsory to move up, it is just our recommendation if you wish to carry on in the same class that is absolutely fine.
Bookings for next term opening
We will be opening the bookings from 9th December, you can make payment for the next time anytime before the term begins.
If you will be moving from one class to another, wait until you have contacted us about this before paying.
Holiday Camp
We will be running holiday camp during the February half term on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 17th, 19th and 21st February, from 10am-2pm. This will be £30 per day or £75 for all 3 days!
Please bring along lunch and water, for the day.
