Pre-school
We are introducing a new class, our Pre-School class. This class will be for those aged between 3 and 4 years old.
These classes will start on 22nd and 23rd of May. If you are interested please add your child to the waiting list for these classes.
It will be a 45 minute class, with smaller groups than our regular classes. This is to make sure that the children can stay focused for the whole duration of the lesson.
Adjustments to age groups of classes
We are adjusting the class ages as prior to having our Pre-School class we wanted to try cater for as many as possible so we had our youngest class, our Beginners 4-6yrs, where now that we have our Pre-School class we are changing this class to Beginners 5-7yrs, We are also adjusting our Beginners 7-11yrs to Beginners 8-11yrs.
This should help to improve how the lessons run and how much the children enjoy the lesson.
Teens and adults
We recently have opened up another Teens and adults (11+yrs) class on Sundays 5-6:55pm which we have found these classes work really well for 11+yrs as the way they are structured is better suited for this age group, we would recommend if you have any children in this age group to consider this group for them.
British Gymnastics Core Proficiency
We will be doing assessments with everyone in the next half term and will hand out any old badges that your child may have received prior to the last lockdown when we hand out this terms badges.
New Staff
We have quite a few new faces who have joined Anima Gymnastics recently.
We have a new Welfare officer, Jaz, Welfare officers are an important part of a gymnastics club, they are there to help uphold safeguarding standards of the club. If you ever have any concerns regarding any safeguarding issues please don’t hesitate to contact her, welfare@animagymnastics.co.uk
We also have a few new coaches as well, which I’m sure you will see them around with us!
Holiday Camps
We will be running some camps in the half term, we will have the following camps running on Wednesday 2nd June:
- Pre-School – 9:00-9:55am – £10
- Beginners – 10:00-11:55am AND/OR 2:00-3:55pm – £20 per class
- Intermediate/Advanced/Floor and Vault – 12:00-1:55pm – £20
- Teens and Adults – 5:00-6:55pm – £15
Next half term
We will be starting our classes for the next half of the summer term from 4th June (this is the weekend in the half term) and will run up until 25th July, so this will be 8 weeks.
We will be opening bookings for the next half term from 17th May(you will receive an email regarding this on May 17th), to secure your space for next term please ensure you book by 1st June, otherwise we will presume you no longer wish to carry on next term. Prices for each class will be as follows for next half term:
- Beginners/Pre-School – £80
- Intermediate/Teens and adults – £120
- Advanced/F&V – £160
