We hope everyone has had a good start to the year and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support in attending our classes.
We just wanted to update you on a few things happening this term and leading into next term, such as up coming competition.
Spring Challenge Competition
We will be holding our Spring challenge competition on Sunday 26th March 2023.
If your child is of school age and in one of our classes at either our Enfield or Barnet venue they will be able to enter. (in our beginners, intermediate or advanced classes).
Included with your competition entry is 2 spectator tickets.
Additional spectators tickets can be purchased on the day of competition for £5.00 per person. Under 5s go free.
Gymnasts will all receive a certificate and special event T-Shirt on the day.
Medals will be given out to those in the top 3 of their category.
Please note: we will not be able to give an accurate time as to when your child will be competing on the day until 2-3 weeks prior, an email for the timings will be sent out.
The closing date for the competition will be Sunday 26th February. After this date we will not be able to accept anymore entries.
The competition will be held at our Enfield venue.

Drinks during class
We would like to ask that you please make sure your child only brings in water to the class.
Sunday 19th March Classes
Those that are booked onto a Sunday class with us might have noticed that the booking does not include Sunday 19th March, this is because we did originally plan to run our competition on this day, not realising it would be Mother’s Day! so we have moved the competition to the following weekend.
We will keep this class as being cancelled so there will not be any classes on Sunday 19th March.
Sunday 26th March Class Cancellation
We will be cancelling and refunding the classes on Sunday 26th March as we will be holding our competition on this date.
Please bare with us as we do this, as it may take us some time etc. once we have cancelled and refunded, we will send you an email to notify you.
New Classes in Barnet
We have been working hard to try and expand the variety and amount of classes we provide so we are in the process of adding, changing and expanding some classes at Barnet.
Play Gym
This class was previously called our Parent and Toddler class. We have since changed the name to hopefully clarify it is a completely unstructured class for little ones to play and explore.
We will be running an additional class on Fridays, 10:00-11:55am.
The first class will start from Friday 17th February 2023

Parent and Toddler
We are starting a Parent and toddler class (this used to be what we now call our Play Gym).
The setup is similar to our Play Gym class but we will included an interactive warm up done with parents and children, then shown some skills to work on and allowed to play and explore.
This is a termly booked class after completing a trial class.
The first class will start from Wednesday 15th February 2023 at 11:15-12:00pm

Home Education class
We are starting a Home Education class, this class is a fully structured class that is targeted towards children of school age that are home schooled.
This is a termly booked class after completing a trial class.

Pre-School Parent/Guardian assisted 2yrs6mo-3yrs6mo
We have also added in another class on Wednesday 12:30-1:15pm

Easter Holiday Camp
We have made some adjustments to our holiday camp.
Camp will be running on the same days as before we have just shortened the days.
The hours will run from 10:00am-2:00pm.

Summer Term
The Summer Term will be starting from Monday 17th April 2023 and will run through until Sunday 23rd July.
We will start to open bookings from Monday 20th February for our current members.
We will then open the bookings publicly from Monday 20th March for everyone.
If you are interested in transferring to another day or time, we ask that you book on for your current class and add your child to the desired waiting list for the class you wish to move them to.
British Gymnastics Membership
If you attend one of our Pre-school, Beginners, Intermediate or Advanced classes you will need to make sure you sign up for British Gymnastics membership, if you haven’t done so already, or if you’ve previously done this you will need to renew it.
This follows the school academic year, so it needs to be renewed every September.
This is important as it is an insurance for gymnastics and is what allows us to run our classes, without British Gymnastics Membership you cannot join our classes. You do not have to pay the membership fee as this is included in your class fees and will be paid by the club. Due to GDPR we cannot complete the membership form on your behalf, this needs to be completed by yourself.
