Summer Holiday Camp
We are running a summer holiday camp starting from Monday 31st July 2023. Our holiday camp runs from 9am-3pm. It’s a fun-filled day where children get to spend the majority of their time doing gymnastics, with some time to play games and engage in other activities that aren’t as physically demanding, allowing them to recover a little. You don’t need to be enrolled in a current class to join the holiday camp; anyone is welcome to join!
Summer Holidays Timetable
Over the summer holidays, our timetable will be as follows:
Changes to Timetable
We will be adjusting our timetable for the next term, moving some classes around, removing some classes, and adding others. These changes should hopefully help with some of the adjustments being made.
If you are affected by these changes, please complete the transfer form here so we can put you onto that class.
This will be the new timetable
Autumn Term Bookings
We will be opening bookings for the Autumn term from now.
Current members will have a 5-week priority period before we open bookings up to the public.
We ask you to contact us with any queries as soon as possible. If you miss this period, we cannot guarantee a space will still be available.
From Monday 3rd July (3 weeks after we open bookings), we will look to transfer any current members who have requested it, as long as spaces are available.
From Monday 17th July, bookings will be made public for everyone to book freely. At this point, if you haven’t secured your space, you may lose it.
If you are interested in transferring to another day or time, we ask that you book for your current class and complete the transfer form here.
Pre-Schoolers Moving into Reception
With the start of the new school year, many children will be moving up from our Pre-School to our Beginners class. If you have a child in one of our Pre-School classes who is moving into Reception, please have a look at our timetable below and complete our transfer form here.
New Classes
Baby Gym – This will replace our current Play Gym class and will cater to a specific age bracket with different run times.
Toddlers – This will be a semi-structured parent and toddler class with a lead warm-up. Parents and toddlers will be shown what they can work on with the equipment, and coaches will be there to help them try some gymnastics skills. This class is for children between 1.5 and 3 years of age.
Young Adults – This will be a structured class for children to improve their skills on all the apparatus and be with children of their own age. This class is for children between 11-16 years of age.
Young Adults Advanced – This will be a semi-structured class with a lead warm-up and floor basics. We will then work with the children to enhance the skills they want to learn and improve. This class is for children between 11-16 years of age.
Adults – This will be a semi-structured class with a lead warm-up and floor basics. We will then work with the adults to enhance the skills they want to learn and improve. This class is for individuals aged 16+ years.
Adjustment to Beginners Age Groups
Currently, our Beginners class is split into the following 3 groups: “Reception & Year 1,” “Year 2 & 3,” and “Years 4-6.” We will now divide them as follows: “Reception,” “Year 1-2,” and “Years 3-6.”
No More Advanced Classes at Enfield
We will no longer be running our Advanced class at Enfield.
We feel that the space and equipment are limiting us in teaching the children, and we don’t want to hold them back from reaching their full potential.
We will have 2 days and times to choose from at our Barnet venue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we hope you understand why we have made this decision.
Changes to Termly Renewals
Future bookings will be opened the week after half-term to allow parents plenty of time to prepare for the following term.
Changes to Booking – Whole Term, Half Term, Custom Booking
We will be introducing two new ways to pay for our classes.
Currently, we only offer whole term bookings, which work out to be £12.50 per week (£17.50 for intermediate/advanced) and are usually for 14 weeks upfront.
We will be introducing a half-term booking option where you can book for the first half of the term. This would work out to be £15.00 per week (£20.00 for intermediate/advanced).
We will also be introducing a custom booking option where you can select the specific weeks you can attend. This would work out to be £20.00 per week (£25.00 for intermediate/advanced).
If you are interested in either of these options, please contact us at bookings@animagymnastics.co.uk.
Autumn Competition
We will be running our Autumn competition on Saturday 9th December – Sunday 10th December.
If your child is of school age and in one of our classes at either our Enfield or Barnet venue, they will be able to enter (in our beginners, intermediate, advanced, or teens classes).
Included with your competition entry are 2 spectator tickets.
Additional spectator tickets can be purchased on the day of the competition for £5.00 per person. Children under 5 go free.
Gymnasts will all receive a certificate and a special event T-Shirt on the day.
Medals will be given out to those in the top 3 of their category.
Please note: We will not be able to provide an accurate time for when your child will be competing on the day until 2-3 weeks prior. An email with the timings will be sent out.
The closing date for the competition will be Saturday 11th November. After this date, we will not be able to accept any more entries.
The competition will be held at our Barnet venue.
Term Dates
The term will commence from Monday 4th September 2023.
Half term will be from Monday 23rd October until Sunday 29th October 2023.
The term will end on Friday 22nd December 2023.
There will be no classes on Saturday 9th December and Sunday 10th December.
October Half Term
We will be running a holiday camp on Tuesday and Thursday from 9am-3pm during the October half term.
This camp will be available to book once we start the term in September.

British Gymnastics Membership
If you attend one of our Pre-School, Beginners, Intermediate, or Advanced classes, you will need to ensure you sign up for British Gymnastics membership if you haven’t done so already, or if you’ve previously done this, you will need to renew it.
Membership follows the school academic year, so it needs to be renewed every September.
This membership is important as it provides insurance for gymnastics and allows us to run our classes. Without British Gymnastics Membership, you cannot join our classes. You do not have to pay the membership fee as it is included in your class fees and will be paid by the club. Due to GDPR, we cannot complete the membership form on your behalf; it needs to be completed by yourself.
You can sign up or renew here.
