Anima Winter Challenge
We will be hosting our competition on Saturday, 9th, and Sunday, 10th December 2023.
It is open to all individuals of school age.
Participants in Reception and Year 1 will showcase a floor and vault routine judged against a set criteria. Gold, silver, and bronze stickers will be awarded for both floor and vault performances. The focus is on individual improvement rather than competition against others.
For those in Year 2 or higher, there is an opportunity to secure 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place and receive a corresponding medal.
Our routines are tailored to each gymnast’s abilities, designed for Beginners, Intermediate, or Advanced levels within their class.
All gymnasts will perform a floor routine and two vaults.
Entries will close after November 6th. Afterward, we will organize participants into rounds based on age and ability. Information regarding the round, arrival times, and expected competition duration will be communicated to each participant. Each round is expected to last approximately 2 hours.
Attendance on either Saturday or Sunday will be determined by our organizing team. If there are few competitors, we may only run the competition on Sunday.
The competition entry fee includes participation for one competitor, spectator fees, and a competition T-shirt.

Enfield venue
We have reached the difficult decision to discontinue our classes in Enfield. This choice has not been easy for us, but we trust you can appreciate the reasons behind it.
Several factors led to this decision, with the primary one being that we have outgrown our space in Enfield. Unfortunately, it no longer accommodates our refined and developed services. We are committed to continuous improvement and providing the best service possible, and this change will enable us to pursue that goal more effectively. We will carry on classes here until the end of the term Sunday 17th December 2023.
This will take effect from the winter term starting in January and we will only be running classes at our Barnet venue.
Class changes
We are making some changes to our classes.
We will add in a soft play class which will be a 1.5 hour unstructured class that you will be able to bring your 1-5 yr olds to and you will be able to book on for this class for individual days
We are adjusting the age groups of some of our classes;
Intermediate = 5 – 10.5 yrs 6.5 – 12.5 yrs
Advanced = 5 – 10.5 yrs 8.5 – 14.5 yrs
Young adults = 10.5 – 14 yrs 11.5 – 16.5 yrs
Young adults advanced = 10.5 – 15.5 yrs 11.5 – 16.5 yrs

Changes with class bookings
Starting now, we’re waving goodbye to trial sessions. Instead, we’re introducing a flexible class booking system – if you’re not over the moon with your class, you can get a refund for the remaining term. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’re here to make your gymnastics journey as seamless as possible.
Winter Term dates
Start date = Monday 8th January 2024
Half term = Monday 12th to Sunday 18th February 2024 – We will no longer run classes over the half term and instead only offer Holiday camps over the half term.
End date = Sunday 31st March 2024
Winter Term bookings
We’ll start priority bookings for current class attendees on Monday 30th October 2023. After this date you will receive an email to book on for your current class.
General bookings for everyone will open on Monday 27th November 2023.
Secure your spot by making payment before Monday 27th November 2023. Failure to do so may require manual booking, risking the loss of your child’s class space.

February half term holiday camp
We will be running holiday camp 9am-3pm from Monday 12th to Friday 16th February 2024.
British Gymnastics membership
If you attend one of our Pre-School, Beginners, Intermediate, or Advanced classes, you will need to ensure you sign up for British Gymnastics membership if you haven’t done so already, or if you’ve previously done this, you will need to renew it.
Membership follows the school academic year, so it needs to be renewed every September.
This membership is important as it provides insurance for gymnastics and allows us to run our classes. Without British Gymnastics Membership, you cannot join our classes. You do not have to pay the membership fee as it is included in your class fees and will be paid by the club. Due to GDPR, we cannot complete the membership form on your behalf; it needs to be completed by yourself.
