Timings
As stated in our previous email sent out to everyone the competition will be on Sunday 10th December 2023.
You will receive an email to let you know what round your child is in and the timings.
Ensure timely arrival for registration (by the specified time). Please be aware that we can’t admit attendees before the registration time, as the previous round may still be ongoing. Kindly refrain from arriving significantly earlier. Thank you.
Round 1
- Registration opens – 8:45am
- Start time – 9:00am
- Finish time – 11:00am
Round 2
- Registration opens – 11:15am
- Start time – 11:30am
- Finish time – 1:30pm
Round 3
- Registration opens – 2:15pm
- Start time – 2:30pm
- Finish time – 4:30pm
Competition Attire
Hair must be tied back. T-shirt/leotard and joggers/leggings/bottoms is all fine to wear for the competition.
Competition Venue
The competition will be held at our Barnet venue.

Competition routines
Depending on your child’s class, they will perform a routine corresponding to their level: beginners, intermediate, or advanced.
We encourage you to assist your children in learning their routine, making the day enjoyable for them. It’s an opportunity for them to handle a bit of stress and pressure, following our class approach.
We aim to prepare them to perform as they do in class without undue stress.
While we understand parents want the best for their children, we’ve found that success comes from encouraging hard work in the classes leading up to the competition. So, let’s focus on cheering our children on rather than scrutinising their performance.
Beginners
- Forward roll to Straddle sit
- Show Straddle Shape – Hold minimum 3 seconds
- Show Pike Shape – Hold minimum 3 seconds
- Show Tuck Shape – Hold minimum 3 seconds
- With tucked legs, roll onto back, then rock forward to stand
- One-leg balance (Big toe to knee – T-shape) – Hold minimum 3 seconds
- Straight jump
- Squat to floor, Bunny hop
- Repeat Bunny hop + *Bonus skill – Cartwheel*
- Star jump
Intermediate
- Forward roll to Pike sit
- V-Sit without hands – Hold minimum 3 seconds
- Back Support to Front Support – Hold minimum 3 seconds each – Squat in to stand
- Kick to Handstand, finish in lunge position
- One-leg balance (Straight leg) OR Arabesque – Hold minimum 3 seconds
- Jump Half turn
- Cartwheel,Cartwheel front to back (1/4 turn in finish feet together) – Linked together
- Backward roll to Straddle – Hold table shape minimum 3 seconds *Bonus skill – to Front support*
- Tuck jump
Advanced
- Handstand forward roll
- Arabesque OR Y-Balance – Hold minimum 3 seconds
- Cartwheel, One handed Cartwheel, Cartwheel front to back (1/4 turn in finish feet together) – Linked together
- Jump Full turn
- Skip step Roundoff *Bonus skill – Aerial/Front handspring/round off flick*
- Backward roll to Front Support – Hold minimum 3 seconds
2 Options
- Left or Right Leg Splits – Hold minimum 3 seconds,
– Sit to pike position- roll onto back, then rock forward to stand - Tuck jump half turn

- From Front Support to Back Support, Push to Bridge (one Leg) – Hold minimum 3 seconds
