Pick-Up & Drop-Off Rules
- Parents must follow designated drop-off and pick-up procedures for all classes (except for first-time sessions).
- Exceptions: These rules do not apply to Toddlers Play and Toddlers Advanced classes.
Late Arrivals Policy
- Children arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be allowed to join the class for health and safety reasons.
- No refunds will be issued for missed sessions due to lateness.
Pick-Up Authorisation
- If someone other than a parent or guardian is collecting a child, you must notify the club in person or via email in advance.
Supervision for Young Children
- Parents or guardians must remain on-site during sessions for children under 5 years old.
Independent Departure for Older Gymnasts
- Children over 10 years old may leave the premises alone, but parents must provide written permission via text or email.
Food & Drink Policy
- Only water bottles with clear labels are allowed.
- No other food or drinks are permitted inside the gymnasium.
Dress Code for Gymnastics Classes
Footwear
- No socks or shoes allowed during training, including grip socks and gymnastics shoes.
Hair, Makeup & Accessories
- Hair must be tied back securely to avoid distractions and safety issues.
- Makeup and jewellery are not permitted (including small studs). If jewellery cannot be removed, it must be covered with tape.
Clothing Guidelines
- Toddlers Advanced, Pre-School & Boys (All Levels):
- Allowed: T-shirts, vests, sweatshirts, shorts, leggings, or joggers.
- Optional: Boys may wear a leotard with shorts, but this is not mandatory.
- Girls (Reception to Advanced Classes):
- Leotards are mandatory.
- Optional: Shorts or leggings can be worn over leotards.
- A fitted top may be worn over a leotard, but baggy clothing that disrupts movement may need to be removed.

How Do I Make a Payment for Gymnastics Classes?
- Bookings are made on a termly basis (except for Toddlers Play).
- No sessions on Bank Holidays, Half-Terms, Easter, Summer, and Christmas holidays—these dates are automatically excluded from termly payments.
What Age Groups Do You Cater To?
- We offer gymnastics classes for children starting from walkers up to 16 years old.
- Our programs are designed for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced gymnasts.
Is Parking Available at Anima Gymnastics Club?
Yes! Free on-site parking is available for all visitors.
Do I Need to Book in Advance, or Can I Drop In for a Class?
All classes must be booked in advance. We do not accept drop-ins.
What Should My Child Wear to Gymnastics Classes?
- Girls (Reception to Advanced Classes): Leotards are mandatory. Shorts, leggings, or a fitted top may be worn over the leotard.
- Boys (All Levels) & Toddlers, Toddlers Adv & Pre-Schoolers: T-shirt and shorts/leggings. Boys may also wear a leotard with shorts.

Can Parents Watch the Classes?
- Parents are not allowed inside the gym during sessions to maintain a focused learning environment.
- Parents are allowed to sit in for your child’s first class.
- Toddlers Advanced: This class is parent assisted so parents are allowed in.
- However, we have a seating area where parents can watch the class through a TV.
What Happens if My Child Gets Injured During a Class?
- We always have a qualified first aider present at every session.
- If an injury occurs, we will provide immediate care and inform parents as needed.
Do You Offer Trial Sessions?
- We do not offer trial classes.
- However, you are free to cancel your booking at any time, and we will issue a refund for any remaining classes in your term.
What Happens if I Miss a Class? Can I Get a Refund?
- Missed classes are non-refundable.
- In certain cases, we may offer a make-up session, subject to availability and a £5 fee. To request a make-up session, please complete our Make-Up Form.
Do Gymnastics Classes Run During School Holidays?
- No, regular classes do not run during Bank Holidays, Half-Terms, Easter, Summer, or Christmas holidays, these dates are automatically excluded from termly payments
- Instead, the club offers holiday camps for primary school-aged children during these breaks.
Do You Offer Gymnastics Competitions?
- Yes! We organise in-house competitions open to all gymnasts in School Year 1 and above.
- Advanced gymnasts also have opportunities to participate in external competitions.
Are There Any Discounts Available?
- Sibling Discount: 10% off for siblings when booked together under the same account.
- Multi-Class Discounts for Intermediate & Advanced Levels:
- 50% off for a second class
- 75% off for a third or fourth class
